If you have found your way here, welcome! I’m Giulia, wife and mother and full time teacher. I’m just a real person with lots of life experience and interests that I want to share with other like minded women.

What are my interests? Crafting, reading and various other creative endeavours like this blog. I am also a Catholic who recently had a deep spiritual awakening and therefore I come at things from a Catholic/Christian framework. I promise I’m not here to convert you or to preach at you! My faith is just an important part of my life and I will be sharing about that from time to time.
Homemaking
This blog will endeavour to bring you homemaking content–recipes, meal ideas, food prep tricks that work for me (and might work for you) as well as faith based content like I how we can stay rooted in the Word in today’s busy world. We explore topics like what is intentional homemaking, and how to balance work life and homemaking, and so much more that I hope will provide you inspiration in how to set about embracing homemaking in your own life and home and help you grow as a homemaker and mother.
My own journey into homemaking was unexpected and set me a new path, and gave me a whole new outlook on life and family and the things that really matter. I can share more about that later, but if you have been struggling to find that work/life balance, my story might be of interest of you and what I want to do here is inspire other women who are struggling and uncertain about their season of life (as I was) begin to approach life from a softer, quieter heart space.
Crafting
The blog of course will focus on crafting, which was my main inspiration for the Homemaker’s Stitch. Crafting is a big part of my life after all.
I’ve always been a one craft crafter in the past, and crochet is my jam. You’ll be seeing lots of crochet content! I hope to share tutorials and projects I’m working on as well as crochet resources and tips to help you advance your own skills. But I am going to share crafts that I am learning and exploring as well, like knit and embroidery. I have been learning to knit (it’s a slow going learning journey) and I hope we can build a strong community of faithful crafter and homemakers.
Let’s Connect
Since you are here, please be sure to follow me on Instagram, where I share a lot of my day to day and even more content. I’m also an avid reader so if you are on Goodreads, you can follow me there as well. I might even share some book reviews from time to time as reading has been a lifelong passion and hobby of mine.
Because what I hope to build is a community please leave me feedback and questions and your thoughts in the comments section. I will be replying to you because community is about a dialogue and I look forward to hearing from you.
I’m very excited to be starting the new year with this new venture (which was actually not in my plans and just worked out this way–likely the hand of God at work) and connecting with all of you. As we walk into 2026, let’s strive to make it a year where we connect more with family and friends and unplug from the noise and distractions of the world. Instead, let’s bake and make beautiful things with our hands together.
I’ll be back soon with more to share with you.
Yeah!!!
Glad you are here Denise.
